The traditional cover up where the product was the same colour as your skin or was supposed to be the same colour has recently been replaced by actually coulours. Now we see green purple, orange on almost every make up tutorial.
I recently took on this new idea with no clue what to expect.
I picked out the M A Y B E L L I N E version as recommended by a friend. This palet contains six diffrent shades, two to correct, two to conceal and two to highlight.
Its safe to say that the two shades in the middle work very well on my face and i would give them a 10/10. I am not familiar with highlighting but i can safetly say i found no use for the two shades of highlighter.
My real curiosity though, was in the first two shades of "to correct". I was very exicted to try the green shade but was disapointed when it did not hide red marks or blemishes and also would not allow to be covered by any other make up. There fore, yes, i was walking around with green spots on my face.
I live off of the two middle shades known to conceal but can do without the other four shades. Im sure those other shades work perfectly for others, depending on your skin.
Next ill maybe have to use them as a sort of liquide eye shadow.
Over all rating,
8/10
