Tragus Piercing

The tragus piercing is rare compared to the usual lobe piercing or the helix. But this piercing is also a pressure point, that is believed to relieve headaches and / or even stop them.

History : 

Growing up it was a recurring dream of mine that i had gotten this piercing with a pink stud. 

Ever since those dreams i always wanted to get it done. Accepting the pain that comes along with it. 

After turning 16 and a recent break up, i booked my appointment in need of a change. 

Walking to the parlour after school, i was scared. I knew it would be painful and i was really hoping that the person doing it would ease my worries. In fact, he didnt. He just went a head and put the needle through my cartilage. 

It was more of a big sting than any pain. I was relieve to get it over with and it was less than i expected but i was very happy to finally get it done. 

Its safe to say i have not had a headache since i got it done. 

Its a lot of work to take care of and a lot of time to let it heal so it is worth it but only if you truly want it.
